I handcraft all my jewelry by traditional jewelry-making techniques without mass production, as I like doing things the old way. This unique wishing locket - an amulet, a keepsake, is created using traditional metalsmithing techniques. This piece is filed, formed, and finished with great care and attention to detail. Therefore keep in mind that each piece is unique and slight differences and imperfections may occur. I use recycled sterling silver and gold as much as possible, as this is like working with precious metals. As well as keeping my scrap metal and recycling it regularly, I source my recycled metal from a traditional local foundry located in the Grand Bazaar of Istanbul. The lid features a tiny hinge on one side with a handmade clasp on the other. • The locket comes with a 50 cm long medium-weight chain, as shown in the pictures.
