Each piece is conceived and developed in Idil’s atelier. Trained under master artisans of Istanbul’s Grand Bazaar, she approaches form with precision, treating detail as structure rather than decoration.

Her work moves between stillness and movement, exterior and interior. Some pieces open, shift, or transform; others remain still, defined by their form. An ongoing search for movement and unexpected detail shapes each design, creating subtle moments of discovery.

Many pieces incorporate discreet mechanisms, inviting interaction and revealing hidden elements over time.

Rooted in Istanbul’s long tradition of craftsmanship yet shaped by a contemporary design sensibility, the collections — Capsules, Doors, Primavera, and Lockets — explore distinct narratives while remaining grounded in proportion and clarity of form.
