18K Gold Plated Braided Wheat Necklace This retro wheat leaf charm/necklace is handcrafted with recycled and 18K gold plated sterling silver. It symbolizes fertility, abundance and peace. The leaves are slightly and individually moving. A perfect gift for a Virgo sign. In Idilius Jewelry, each item is handcrafted by me in my Istanbul studio. Since I use traditional jewelry-making techniques, my production process does not involve mass production. Each leaf is filed, sanded, and assembled together, and comes with a brushed finish. Nowadays, we live in the very heart of a consumer society and have a huge negative impact on the environment and natural resources. Intending to help our World, I prefer to use recycled sterling silver and gold with natural gemstones. As well as keeping my scrap metal and recycling them regularly, I source recycled metals from a traditional local foundry located in the Grand Bazaar of Istanbul. CARE INSTRUCTIONS: ———————— All idiliusjewelry items are made to the highest standards, but they also require care as with all premium items. Except for oxidized ones all sterling silver will tarnish over time when exposed to the air, this will happen much faster when it comes into contact with agents such as perfume, salty air, sulfur, skin creams, hairspray, chlorine, and acidic skin ph. Please keep them in zipper bags when not worn. Do not forget to remove your pieces when swimming, washing hands/dishes, being sport active, or taking a shower. For cleaning use a proper polishing cloth. Pieces with stones and patina are more fragile and can be damaged (removed) by solutions, clean those gently using warm soapy water and polishing cloth and pat dry immediately.
